E siamo arrivati al 15 dicembre, a 10 giorni al Natale, e alla ventiquattresima data della residency degli U2 “U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere”.
Questa data è anche la penultima prima dello stop di questa seconda parte di residency della band di Dublino.
Gli U2 torneranno ad esibirsi a Las Vegas il 26 gennaio 2024.
Mercoledì la band si è esibita ad iniziare questa ultima settimana di concerti per questo 2023.
Ma veniamo al racconto del concerto odierno.
Questa sera completamente stravolta la parte che fa da intermezzo all’intero Achtung Baby eseguito in sequenza.
A seguire Tryin To Throw Your Arms Around the World arrivano City of Blinding Lights (al suo debutto in residency) , Pride (In the Name of Love), I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For (eseguita per la sua terza serata consecutiva) e, eccezionalmente, Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home).

Forse dovevamo immaginarlo visto il post pubblicato qualche giorno fa sui social dagli U2 con proprio Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)... come sappiamo la band non lascia mai nulla al caso!
